Authors visit school
Authors visited our school this November with the literary program "Authors in Schools," which explores books and reading, creativity and writing.
Embla Bachmann and Hjalti Halldórsson visited students in grades 5-7 on Nov. 6 with their presentation "Always the same story." They led a discussion with students about fiction, exploring topics like where stories come from and whether anything can be used in stories.
Today, Nov. 13, Kristín Björg Sigurvinsdóttir and Rebekka Sif Stefánsdóttir presented the program "The Mysterious Book Riddle" for grades 1-4. Students joined them on a journey through the adventurous world of books and solved a literary riddle.
