Green steps

This week, we welcomed a visit from Landvernd – Icelandic Environment Association. Their role is to support schools in doing meaningful, effective work with sustainability — in its broadest sense — as their guiding principle. Today, 54,749 schools in 82 countries participate in the program. In Iceland, approximately 170 schools hold Green Flag status. Húsaskóli has earned the Green Flag six times. On Friday, March 13, the school was recognized by Reykjavík City for the operational steps it has taken.
